We use uninterruptable power supplies and backup generators to maintain system operation during power outages, and employ complex smoke and flood detection and fire suppression systems to protect against physical damage from non-human threats.

   That's because we automatically do it for you. Your information is saved to the same offsite, Klix-owned datacenter that handles millions of TurboTax for the Web® tax returns each year so you get the convenience of automatic offsite storage without the extra effort and cost of creating and managing physical backup copies on your own. And should the unexpected ever happen to your system, all of data will still be instantly accessible to you from any computer connected to the Internet.

   The Klix Online service has delivered a reliability rate of 99.81 percent since January 2001. We rely upon redundant servers and a self-correcting error detection program so even if one of our servers becomes unavailable for any reason, your service will most likely not be affected. This means that the system and your data is available to you online regardless of your location or time of day.
   
   
6. You get to make the rules.
   You control who accesses your financial data and what they can see and do with it. Each person you invite to use Klix Online must create a unique password and no one — not even the Chairman of Klix — can see it. We also offer multiple permission levels that let you limit the access privileges of each user. This means that if you want your part-time contractor to be able enter his hours, but not access your latest P&L charts, Klix Online will make it so.

   And if that's not enough, you can also download a local copy of your data to your hard drive for an extra layer of comfort and control.

7. Everyone is held accountable.
   Klix Online offers unique Always-On Activity Log and Audit Trail features, which record every user who logs into the service and any changes made to every financial transaction. The Always-On Activity Log is a complete record of activities, while the Audit Trail is an easy-to-read history of all changes to a specific transaction. Unlike their counterparts in the Klix desktop software, neither of these features can be turned off by a user. So nothing can happen to your records without you or your accountant knowing about it. And you'll always have a paper trail to trace all transactions back to their source.
